How to submit your ideas, materials,
and papers to post on this web site
For questions regarding submissions,

The power of this site as a tool for
community based HIV prevention depends on your submissions. Experiences,
techniques, project descriptions, critiques, educational and training
materials, links, and thoughts related to HIV Prevention are welcome.
The following list suggests some content
that you could produce yourself and submit to the site.
- Lists of HIV prevention referrals for
specific populations, such as women, newly diagnosed positives,
African Americans, etc.
- Descriptions and evaluations of prevention
projects
- Articles and manifestos related to
hot prevention topics such as needle exchange, internal condoms,
morning after prophylaxis, Home testing, oral sex risk, test
counselor training, women and AIDS, etc. etc.
- Any text you want to adapt or write
for the page. This includes narratives about counseling, testing,
sex, love, relationships, whatever. A place can be created for
whatever type of discussion you feel is appropriate for this
site.
- Any HIV prevention advice that you
want to produce or adapt from another source, such as an existing
brochure or book. This is your chance to improve on and update
existing brochures.
- A list of links (Bookmarks) to relevant
sites.
- Sexually Transmitted Diseases and HIV
- Tips on using latex barriers and safer
sex.
- Papers on HIV prevention practice are
also needed for the Theorizing Desire Section.
- I also need some help with CGI programming.
The Forums section will provide threaded discussions on various
topics allowing visitors to exchange information, advice, and
referrals directly. Information collected through internet forms
also has tremendous research potential. This set up requires
expertise in Perl programming and HTML Forms that I currently
do not have. If you or someone you know could help me set up
the cgi scripts I would be very appreciative.
The easiest thing for me is for you to
send them via e-mail at the above address. If this is not possible,
send them on a 3.5 inch diskette to the address below along with
a printed version so that I can compare the converted version
to the original. Some editing may be required as I format the
document into html format. You may also send GIF and PICT files.
Macintosh format is prefered but I can convert PC formatted disks
as well.
Send conference papers (20 pages max)
for the conference in paper format and on a 3.5 inch diskette
(preferably Macintosh format using Microsoft Word 5.x or Adobe
PageMill) to
