Pushing the Envelope in HIV Prevention for Gay & Bisexual Men

A panel recorded on July 28, 1998 at the National Lesbian and Gay Health Conference, San Francisco. Panelists from gay organizations around the country examined new strategies for HIV prevention for gay and bisexual men.

What innovations are meeting the needs of diverse communities? How can we piece together the fragmented experiences of younger and older men? How do we integrate theory and practice and contextualize HIV prevention in sexuality and desire? Among the specific issues to be considered will be harm reduction, capacity building for individual analysis and self-reflection, and practical community organizing and intervention strategies.
