Latex Condom Manufuacturers

These companies usually sell only their own brands in bulk orders of over 1,000 condoms. For one stop/variety shopping, and smaller orders, purchases often need to be made through a reseller/distributors see below.

Condom Resellers & Repackagers

Resellers buy large qunatities of condoms, lube, etc. from manugfacturers, then mix and match things to the buyer's needs. They usually require a lower minimum purchase than most manufactuerers. They are generally much cheaper than retail condom distributors.

Polyurethane Condoms

"Female Condom" / Internal condom

This product is officially called the "femidom," and is approved for birth control. It offers an alternative to "male" condoms for STD transmission for both vaginal and anal sex. This has earned it the name, the "sodom."

Latex Barriers for oral-vaginal or oral-anal sex.
Size, color, falvor/scent, and thickness vary between brands.

Lubricants

Unless noted, all lubricants are water and gycerine based. Some brands come with or without spermicide. I recommend lube without spermicide (nonoxynol 9) for reasons of taste and smell and also because of the potential numbing and irritant qualities of spermicides.
Spermicide's effectiveness against HIV transmission has never been proven, and spermicide has been known to cause burning and ulcerations, potentially increasing the risk of HIV transmission. More about effectiveness of Nonoxunol-9 spermicide for HIV prevention.

Bio-Hazard Boxes/Buckets:

For Bio-Hazard Disposal, check with your local clinic/hospital, waste disposal and telephone directory for services, or call (800)555-1212, and ask for a local listing for Browning Ferris Industries ("BFI"), a national waste disposal company.

Cotton Balls/Pellets:

Medical Supply Companies:

Some - but not all - sales are restricted to licensed organizations or personnel.

Educational Handouts

These places have good stuff. Call for catalogs, but, before you order, ask for samples, because some you can make yourself, and some are JUST AWFUL.
